Do I need insurance for my belongings?

The University advises all resident students to take out appropriate insurance for your personal belongings (Residents at the McMillan Student Village benefit from some basic personal belongings insurance as part of their Hall Fees). Accommodation Offices can advise on companies offering policies and usually have brochures for the major companies in this area such as Endsleigh or Saxon. The University does not endorse any particular supplier.
