What happens about post deliveries, especially large or valuable items?
Mail is delivered directly to the halls and in some cases, directly to the stairwells or flats. You will be supplied with the postcode for your accommodation, which should always be used on all correspondence. You should not assume automatically that the Accommodation Office or hall will accept and store mail on your behalf. Undelivered mail may be retained by the Post Office for your collection (a failed-delivery card having been left for you). Individual Halls may or may not be able to accept large or valuable items. You are advised to check before arranging delivery. Wrongly addressed mail will be returned to the sender.
