Oyster Cards
Transport for London operate Oyster; a London-wide travel card entitling users to big savings off the price of bus, tube, DLR, Ferry and train fares. For regular users of public transport this is essential. Oyster is available on a pay-as-you-go basis or by season ticket. All London Train services will accept pay-as-you-go Oyster from January 2010. Season ticket Oyster is already accepted.
You can purchase Oyster from the Student Shop at Southwood Site, Avery Hill Campus.
Students can apply to obtain a further 30% saving. University of Greenwich students can follow the link to apply for a Student Oyster Card. You must have a recent digital photograph or yourself and a credit or debit card. Your application will then be verified by the university and a card will be issued by Transport for London. Rail Travel
Southeastern trains sell a range of season tickets and provide information on rail cards.

Young Persons Rail Card
Full-time students, are eligible for a Young Persons Railcard discounting a third off most rail journeys including London to Medway. There is a minimum fare weekdays before 10am; in most cases this is £8. Apply on-line
Travel in Medway
Buses in Medway are mostly operated by Arriva. Their fare structure has two zones.
