Student experience Faculty of Architecture, Computing & Humanities

With the move to its new purpose-built state-of-the-art home in Stockwell Street, Architecture & Landscape is based in the heart of Greenwich, the newest addition to a suite of magnificent buildings that occupy the UNESCO World Heritage site, and importantly, for the first time since 1981, has become a true London school again.

  • Design studios: The department boasts state-of-the-art design studios fully equipped with AV and ultra fast networking. 
  • Workshops: Large and well-equipped workshop with full woodworking and digital fabrication facilities and an external fabrication space for building and testing larger projects
  • Roofs: Stockwell Street has 14 roof landscapes, equipped for teaching and research in aquaponics, algaeponics and living walls and roofs.
  • International lectures: Architecture & Landscape hosts a variety International conferences and evening lectures featuring some of the world's most prominent architects and landscape architects.
  • Exhibition space: As part of the two exhibition spaces, the SLG and Project Space, the department is hoisting a number of high-profile exhibitions and installations including 'Educating Architects' - a survey of work from staff and students at some of best schools of architecture in the world.
