The Department of Creative Professions & Digital Arts (CPDA) brings together a range of creative disciplines and technologies. The environment for students is one where practical work and creativity are the key values of what we teach and research, allied with a strength in understanding the significance of the work we generate. The emphasis is on developing students' creative abilities to good professional standards in industries that demand high-quality ideas and the capacity to carry them out.

In CPDA, students engage with graphic designers, film makers, artists, performers and cultural thinkers, using up-to-date technologies, but also with a view to being able to respond to future changes in the professions we support. Nothing in creative practice stands still for long, and our programmes equip students to cope and thrive in the dynamic environments they will encounter in the future, whatever direction they take.
We are based in the beautiful facilities located in a new building adjacent to the historic Greenwich Campus, at Stockwell Street. For directions and transportation options please see the Greenwich Campus guide.
Our beloved colleague Jesmond Lewis sadly passed away earlier this year. There will be a memorial event at Stockwell Street in September, and further details will be published here as soon as they are confirmed.
