Careers and employability Faculty of Architecture, Computing & Humanities

Throughout their time with the School, students are encouraged to develop their knowledge and skills and to make the most of the range of expertise, resources and opportunities available to them within both the School and the wider University.

The School's law and criminology programmes have been developed with the legal profession or the criminal justice sector in mind. Each programme equips students with the transferable skills and academic knowledge to launch, and enhance, their future careers.

Proximity to the established legal and business hubs of Central London, the City and Canary Wharf has helped forge a range of successful relationships between the School and a number of major legal, financial and public sector justice organisations. The benefits of these links are demonstrated by a number of quality extra-curricular opportunities with some programmes being able to offer certain students a range of mentoring and/or internship opportunities as well as the opportunity to participate in extra-curricular skills development sessions. To find out more about the sorts of opportunities typically available on a specific programme, please contact the School.

In addition to in-School employability support/advice from staff, both law and criminology students benefit from access to the university's employability service.
