Clearing 2013A team of trained Clearing advisers is now available to help everyone keen to sign up for a degree course at the University of Greenwich this autumn.

The university's Clearing specialists are students and academics able to advise and assist higher education hopefuls of all ages to find the best courses which will meet their career aspirations.

The advisers' dedicated training means that they are perfectly placed to help a wide range of potential candidates find places on available courses, provided that students meet the university's entry criteria.

Bev Woodhams, Head of Central Recruitment, says: "Being well-prepared is the key to successfully navigating Clearing, which will be at its busiest when A-level results are announced on Thursday 15 August. At that time, thousands of school and college leavers will start seeking degree course places.

"The university's Clearing pages feature up-to-date listings of course vacancies and a wealth of advice to ensure all applications can be handled quickly and efficiently."

The online 'Livechat' with Clearing advisers makes it quick and easy to find out more about courses or to raise any queries about the application process.

Ms Woodhams adds: "If you want 'hands-on' help with your application, visit our Greenwich Campus or our Mansion Site, Avery Hill Campus, where our advisers will be happy to help."

Advice lines are open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. In addition, they will be open from 7am to 8pm on Thursday 15 August; 8am to 6pm on Friday 16 August; and 10am to 4pm on Saturday 17 August.

There will be a special Open Day with opportunities to meet lecturers and current students, and to view facilities, on Saturday 17 August.
