Stéfanie BolducA prestigious national prize for 'outstanding' marketing research has been awarded to a University of Greenwich student.

Stéfanie Bolduc, originally from Canada, recently completed her Masters programme in Strategic Marketing with the university’s Business School. She was chosen as a winner by the Worshipful Company of Marketors.

Her successful entry in the annual awards analysed concepts of brand loyalty and 'co-creation', a type of business relationship where a company and its customer both benefit from their shared interests. Stéfanie will receive her award, which includes a cheque for £1,000, at a prize-giving event in the City later in the year.

A City Livery Company, the Worshipful Company of Marketors consists of senior marketing experts and academics. Its 'open prize' awards are for research which is not only academically excellent, but which has the potential to be successfully applied to the business world.

The panel of judges branded Stéfanie’s work as outstanding and insightful.

Chairman of the Marketors' Awards Committee, Professor Mike Jones, says: "Our educational awards are competitive and highly prized. Entries are received from a number of top Business Schools across the UK and to win is regarded as a standard of excellence by the sector."

Chris Rock, Senior Lecturer with the university's Business School, adds: "Stéfanie's success in winning the award is a credit to herself and to the university. She was up against many other strong contenders from UK universities and, as a result of her achievement, has a strong platform from which to launch her career in marketing."
