Jamie SmartHow greater clarity can lead to more success in life is the topic of the University of Greenwich’s next Big Picture seminar on Wednesday 5 November.

Internationally renowned speaker, consultant and author Jamie Smart will be speaking on Clarity: The Inner Source of Resilience, Agility and Innovation. The seminar is free to attend, but prior registration is essential, with details below.

Jamie, author of the number one business bestseller, CLARITY: Clear Mind, Better Performance, Bigger Results, says: “It’s never been more important to use your time wisely, make good decisions and create meaningful results. Yet the increasing speed and complexity of life means we seem to have less time, need to work harder and have more calls on our attention than ever before.

“At a time when you most need agility, resilience and innovation, doesn’t it often feel like they’re in shorter and shorter supply? But what if you could have more of what you’re looking for by having less on your mind?”

He adds: “The solution’s the same in every field of high-performance, from the classroom to the playing field, from the boardroom to the bedroom. When you've got nothing on your mind, you're free to give your best.”

Jamie also runs professional development workshops for business leaders, trainers, coaches and consultants. He has appeared on Sky TV and on the BBC, as well as in numerous publications including The Daily Telegraph.

Run by the university’s Business School, the Big Picture seminar series gives high-profile speakers a chance to share their expertise with students, staff and the general public. Subjects include entrepreneurship, leadership and management, the economy and the media.

Seminars run between 5pm and 7pm at the Greenwich Campus. Registration details:  http://www2.gre.ac.uk/about/faculty/business/services/events/events/current/big-picture-seminar
