Darren RobsonIf you have ever dreamed of becoming a successful entrepreneur then the next Big Picture seminar at the University of Greenwich could be for you.

Darren Robson, a Greenwich graduate who is now an award-winning entrepreneur, as well as a coaching and leadership expert, will be giving tips from the top in the event on Wednesday 14 January.

In the event, titled Entrepreneurability – How you can create your entrepreneurial life less ordinary, Darren will talk about his own story, where he left school with no GCSEs but went on to run his own successful entrepreneurial portfolio and lead several organisations. Along the way, he received a first-class honours degree at Greenwich and worked at one of the world’s leading consultancy firms.

Key themes of the seminar include personal mind-sets and beliefs, mistakes to avoid, the importance of education and learning, and how to use a corporate career as a stepping stone to becoming an entrepreneur. He will also share some of the lessons he’s learned over the past 30 years, which include some entrepreneurial failures as well as many successes.

Darren is also the founder of DRArete Ltd, a leadership coaching, mentoring and advisory service that specialises in working with corporate CEOs, entrepreneurs, leaders and their teams.
