Karen Brickman is a qualified accountant with years of experience in the Financial Services Industry in London. Prior to joining the University of Greenwich in 2011, Karen worked for a top tier investment bank as a Project Manager, managing a large scale global strategic project for the Finance Department. In addition, from 2003–2006, she worked as a Senior Accountant in the Financial Regulation Department of the same investment bank.

Karen graduated with a first class honours business degree in 2000 and from there completed a Master's in Management Information and Managerial Accounting Systems. In 2006, she qualified as a Management Accountant with CIMA.
