  • Promotes student mobility within the European Community.
  • The Erasmus+ study exchange programme is fully recognised by the University of Greenwich and is open to undergraduate students within any programme.
  • Outgoing students can take part in Erasmus+ for the whole of their second year.

  • Employability - Erasmus+ students prove to have qualities that employers look for such as an ability to take on new challenges, to adapt easily to new environments and to be flexible.
  • New experiences - it is an opportunity for adventurous students who want to experience another culture, have fun and meet people.
  • European language - you can learn or master another European language.
  • Maturity - managing a life in another culture will help you build your confidence and independence.

When to apply

Students can only go on an Erasmus+ exchange programme during their second year of study. You must apply by the end of the second term of your first year and early application is highly recommended.

What students say about their Erasmus+ experience?

"By studying in a different country my language skills improved. I developed more confidence talking and writing in French. It even helped improve my grades when I came back to Greenwich."

"The Erasmus+ scheme has enabled me to adapt to rapid changes and boost my confidence, which are essential skills required to start a job with any company. You can impress employers too by learning another language, taking a big step towards a less familiar environment and growing your network of international contacts. There's definitely a lot to gain and nothing to lose from taking a semester or year abroad."
