Maria was working in the leisure and transportation industries prior to joining the University of Greenwich in 2011. Maria's professional experience includes leading diverse teams in the hotel business and managing and training airline crew in the UK and overseas.

Maria is a Senior Lecture in Human Resources and Organisational Behaviour and is involved in all undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of the Department. In addition, Maria serves as link tutor for the BA Business Management programme that runs overseas.

Maria is also member of the Faculty Research Ethics Committee for the Business School.

Teaching and administrative activities

Maria is teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. She is currently the course leader for the postgraduate CIPD research projects and the HR module of the Executive MBA.
