About the Department of Marketing, Events & Tourism Business School

Marketing, public relations, events, hospitality and tourism management disciplines continue to move beyond their traditional consumer business roots and are being revolutionised by new and emerging communications channels, such as social media and mobile applications.

Marketing at Greenwich has been rated 2nd best in London for student satisfaction in the Complete University Guide 2016. It's an exciting place to be right now.

Programmes

We have been running specialist marketing degree programmes for over 20 years and were the first UK university to offer a specialist degree in marketing communications. Today we continue to offer quality undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in marketing as well as public relations (PR), events management, hospitality and tourism management programmes. Our PR programme is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and our marketing programmes are recognised as 'dual awards' by the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Accreditation's and professional bodies:

We work closely with professional bodies to make sure that our programmes and students are fit for the real world of marketing, advertising and PR.

As a result, student exemptions can be gained towards qualifications from these professional bodies and students who hold professional qualifications are able to join some programmes with advanced standing.
