Why did you choose to study your postgraduate degree at the University of Greenwich?

I had over five years' practical experience in marketing management and practice as well as a postgraduate diploma in marketing prior to studying at the university.

I saw the Business School structure as the one that was most capable of preparing me for my future career. I accessed the university's website from Nigeria and viewed programme content and structure before applying for a place.

What did you like most about studying at the Business School?

As a student representative, I could see that the Business School put students on top of its priorities. On one occasion, I highlighted that there weren't enough copies of a textbook available, and staff were quick to order in more.

The Business School is also close to central London and the business district of Canary Wharf. I lived in Devonport House halls of residence, near the campus, and visiting the Royal Observatory was a regular event. I always stood on the meridian line to remind myself that I was studying at the centre of the world.

What are the main differences between postgraduate and undergraduate life?

Postgraduate study is tailored towards specific needs, while undergraduate study is more general.

What advice would you give to others considering studying at Greenwich?

The university will provide you with all the information you need in order to choose the right programme for you. It's the place to be; what is set out in your programme structure prior to studying at Greenwich is exactly what you'll receive, but with much more support and many more resources available.

What are you currently doing and what are your career plans?

I am currently a doctoral student of marketing operations and management. I am writing up my thesis, attending international seminars and presenting papers. In the future, I will definitely be engaged in academia as a lecturer and researcher.
