Ewa Krolikowska-Adamczyk joined the University of Greenwich in 2005 as an experienced industry professional, having worked for PwC in London and Warsaw for nine years in Marketing and Business Development. Ewa is a Chartered Marketer and former Chair and Co-Founder of the Chartered Institute of Marketing's Members Group in Poland.

Since joining the Business Faculty, Ewa has been Programme Leader and has developed and led a number of courses on the BA and MA degree programmes. Ewa's PhD is in relationship marketing, in particular, how social bonds develop in business-to-business relationships. Her areas of expertise include Events Marketing and Tourism Marketing and she is an experienced researcher in both quantitative and qualitative methods.

Ewa's PhD research is within business-to-business relationship marketing. She has examined how social bonds develop in business relationships using attachment theory. Ewa is interested in applying social psychology theories to marketing issues in business, tourism and events.

She is currently researching into:

  • Business tourism and how to create and distribute tourism leisure packages to business travellers most effectively;
  • The self-catering industry and its economic impacts and value of the sector.

She is currently supervising PhD students in the areas of:

  • The impact of structure and relationships on social identification within a tourism destination network;
  • Brand identification;
  • The influences on leadership roles and processes in an event management context.
