Computer Networking Combined Degrees
The computer networking courses of a combined honours degree programme will enable students to study the evolution and technology of computer networks in the broadest sense. Students will be given experience in designing, developing and deploying networks as part of the communications infrastructure. Additionally they will be taught the most vital business and management techniques and skills for building the case for, and bringing to fruition, new and re-developed computer networks.
Students taking these aspects of the combined honours course will be given the opportunity to build on their studies towards industry accredited qualifications such as CISCO® CCNA® and CCNP®. The networking focused nature of these aspects of the combined honours course is designed to equip students well for careers where the need to design, develop and manage networks as part of a wider context is key.
Computer networking courses are taught by the School of Engineering at the Medway Campus.
