School Entry Requirements - Business School

Entry requirements for degrees for students who are under 21 years old are based on passing at least two A-levels or AVCE double award. Applications are also welcome from students with BTEC or GNVQ qualifications. You will require a minimum of 180 UCAS points to gain entry. Points from AS-levels or ASVCEs are also taken into account.

In addition we normally require at least 3 GCSEs, including English GCSE (grade A–C) and mathematics (grade A–C). Alternatively Key Skills qualifications in "Application or Numbers" or “Communication” at level 2 will also be considered.

Applications from mature students and/or students with professional work backgrounds are also welcome.

If you wish to apply for a programme with a language as a minor component (…"with" French, etc.), you will need a minimum of grade C at GCSE in the relevant language. For a joint combination (…"and" French, etc.), you will need an A-level in the relevant language.
