History Combined Degrees

Human societies, like individuals, are the products of their past and are in a process of continuous change and development. Historians study aspects of this process in order to understand the complex dynamics of political, social and cultural change with the objective of enhancing our collective self-understanding.

Although history is a 'non-vocational' discipline, it is an exciting area of study in its own right. It develops a diverse range of transferable life skills and opens up a wide range of career opportunities.

History courses are taught by the School of Humanities at the Greenwich Campus. Depending on your selected combination you may be required to travel between campuses.
