256-hectare estate containing woodland and aquatic habitats, landscape training centre, design studio and dedicated science laboratories

These programmes involve study of the creative arts in combination with natural sciences and the craft of the gardener. The programmes address the core work involved in the design and implementation of garden-scale sites.
The programmes are made up of lectures, tutorials, studio workshops and project work, all linked and practically applied. The second year of the HND programme is a paid industrial placement. There are visits to gardens, parks and landscapes and study tours in both the UK and abroad.
