Open DayThousands of prospective students are expected to attend the latest Open Day at the University of Greenwich on Saturday 6 July.

The event is open to anyone considering university at undergraduate or postgraduate level, and takes place at all three campuses: the Greenwich Campus, at the Old Royal Naval College; Avery Hill, in parkland near Eltham, and the Medway Campus in Chatham Maritime. Free buses will take visitors between the campuses to see the full range of facilities, including the university’s refurbished Bathway Theatre.

All the university’s Schools will be represented, with staff and students available to answer questions and guide visitors.

Previous visitors to the Open Days have described them as ‘a brilliant day’ and ‘excellent’. “Everyone has been very informative and helpful when answering questions,” says one. “The tours were great and really enabled me to see what the places were like.”

The event takes place from 10am to 3pm.

The University of Greenwich is home to more than 26,000 students, drawn from more than 100 countries.

According to the latest National Student Survey, 85 per cent of Greenwich’s final-year students say that they are definitely or mostly satisfied with the quality of their degree courses, even higher than in 2011.
