He explained

"I really enjoyed my time at the CAFC academy. I had a great time working with elite Charlton Academy kids, learning how to plan and deliver training sessions to improve their skills.I have been involved in a range of activities from making sure the pitches are set up on time, monitoring players performance, helping to manage the team during the sessions and producing player reports on the PMA system.

I highly recommend carrying out an internship with CAFC. It has helped me massively."

Damilola has recently been scouted to volunteer with under 7s at Charlton Athletic FC and has obtained a paid role with La Masia Sports Football club in London working with under 9s and under 12s. Great work Dami!

Annabel Coppiters, CAFC Project Coordinator, said "it is a fantastic initiative for both the club and the university. We are working together to synergise the relationship and maximise the outputs. The students are extremely enthusiastic and are working with our players really well. It is great to see the students' rapidly develop their skills and knowledge during their time with us."
