Green WeekGreen Week is in full bloom with a series of events aimed at helping people find out more about sustainability.

The highlights are three fairs with the first being held yesterday (1 April) at the Medway Campus. Today the action moved to Queen Mary Undercroft, Greenwich, before finishing tomorrow at The Dome, Avery Hill (both 11am until 2pm).

Stalls at the fairs include a pedal power bike generator; advice on saving energy and water; sustainable food; a clothes bank and swap-shop; recycling information and Bexley Food bank.

Dr Bike (provided by Velo-City) is at the Queen Anne car park today and The Dome tomorrow (both 11am until 5pm) offering free bike repairs and tips on maintenance. There are free films as well, starting tonight with Wall-E (6pm) at Bar Latitude in Greenwich. Tomorrow’s showing is The Day After Tomorrow (6pm) David Fussey D107, Avery Hill. To get in you need to bring at least one can to recycle.

Other events held this week include a Sustainability Hub treasure hunt, a look at the secret life of bees in the Southwood Site hives and a health and wellbeing forum. There are more details on Green Week here
