Clearing Open DayClearing at the University of Greenwich is in full swing today (Thursday 15 August). The hotlines are buzzing, online LiveChat with trained Clearing specialists is well under way, and the University of Greenwich website is packed with information – helping all applicants find the best degree course this autumn to match their career aspirations.

In addition to this, the university is opening up its three campuses, at Greenwich, Avery Hill and Medway, for a special Clearing day on Saturday 17 August. On this day potential students can talk to course experts and specialists, and explore the campus facilities.

For Bev Woodhams, Head of Recruitment, taking the opportunity to look around a university campus and meet the academic staff and students is invaluable.

“If you are going to be studying somewhere for three years, it needs to be a place where you can feel comfortable and concentrate on your work. Visiting the campus and meeting staff and students gives you a real flavour of life at the university,” she says.

The Open Day web pages offer a series of top tips to gain the most out of a campus visit. To register go to http://www2.gre.ac.uk/study/courses/clearing/open

Anyone unable to attend can book a guided tour with a student ambassador on another date by contacting the Open Day team by email at opendays@gre.ac.uk or by calling 020 8331 9900.
