Research interests

Jenny has a particular interest in studying adolescent sports injuries involving the growing apophyseal junctions. These conditions include the syndromes of Osgood-Schlatter's, Sever's and Sinding-Larsen-Johanssen (diseases) and she is currently investigating a novel form of treatment.

Currently in collaboration with Crystal Palace, Brentford, Brighton & Hove Albion and Hamilton Academicals Football Club Academies investigating growth parameters of young footballers. This study aims to identify the aetiology of these apophysitis injuries with the hope of helping prevent them in the future.

She is also interested in sporting injuries of the knee and shoulder, and flexibility and biomechanics of soft tissue anatomy.

Jenny is keen to invite interested parties with an interest in youth athletic injuries to contact her to discuss possible collaborations and research.
