Trains

Docklands Light Railway (DLR)

The DLR operates in East London stretching across to South-East London via Cutty Sark station. This makes it particularly convenient for Greenwich campus and is just two minutes walk from the campus West Gate. Direct services run from Bank, Canary Wharf, Lewisham and Stratford and easy connections are available from Tower Gateway, Beckton and London City Airport.

For fare and ticket information go to our Using public transport page.

London Underground (Tube)

The London Underground tube network is not close enough to walk from and will require transfer onto other public transport. The best option is to get off at Canary Wharf (Jubilee Line) and get a DLR Lewisham bound train to Cutty Sark. Alternatively you could get off at North Greenwich (Jubilee Line) and take a 188 bus to the campus.

Rail

Southeastern Trains provide direct services from London Charing Cross, Cannon Street, Waterloo East and London Bridge all to Greenwich Station a 10 minute walk away from the West gate. There are also direct services from Medway taking around 50 minutes, though a change at Charlton or Dartford is often required. If you are travelling from Kent, alight at Maze Hill Station which is a 10 minute walk from the East gate. Pay-as-you-go Oyster Cards are not currently valid at these stations but Oyster season tickets can be used.
