Our Fees for Freedom of Information Requests

The University may be entitled to charge a fee before providing any information requested. Many requests will be answered free of charge, but we may decline to comply with certain requests for information on the grounds of cost where these requests would be particularly expensive. If a request is very complicated or may prove lengthy to answer in terms of staff resources, we may charge a staff hourly rate of £25.
Electronic documents available through the University of Greenwich’s FOI Publication Scheme may be downloaded and printed at your own expense, including any charges made by your internet service provider.
At the discretion of the University, we may charge for disbursements. This includes printing, photocopying and postage. Black and white printouts and photocopies will be charged as follows:
A4 sheet (per page) 10p
A3 sheet (per page) 20p
Where a fee is payable, we will only provide the information, and despatch copies, upon receipt of payment.
