Getting your new PC set up IT and Library Services

When you contact the IT Service Desk please provide the following information:

  • Your Username
  • The UG number of your old PC (if applicable)
  • The UG number of your new PC (if available)
  • The manufacturer of your new PC
  • Your location and contact information
  • Details of any non-standard software you need to have installed

Replacing your old PC

If you have an existing PC that is to be replaced with a new one then please ensure all the files you wish to be transferred are on the local drive (E) of your old PC, preferably in one folder. This will make it easier for the campus support team to ensure all your data is transferred to your new PC. If you are unsure how to do this contact the IT Service Desk for assistance.
