How Flexible can HE be (Are we?)?
Access & Admissions Conference
Thursday 10th June 2010
After a third consecutive year, the Access & Widening Participation Unit (AWPU) and Central Recruitments Section (CRS) have successfully delivered an informative and thought- provoking conference for our academic, support staff and external colleagues. This year, the conference examined flexibility within higher education, focusing specifically on; flexible access, recruitment and admission to the University of Greenwich. The conference provided an opportunity for discussion and sharing of best practice, in the form of workshops and presentations. Professor Simon Jarvis, Pro-Vice Chancellor, University of Greenwich, opened the day with a presentation on ‘How are we responding to flexible learning?’ focusing specifically on the University of Greenwich provisions.
