Set up a donation to charity through your salary

Setting up a donation to charity through your salary or 'Payroll Giving' is an easy way of making a donation. Payroll Giving allows university staff to make their contribution to any charity or good cause, directly from their salaries, with all the administration being undertaken by the payroll team. Donations are deducted before tax so each £1 gift costs you only 80p; higher rate tax payers pay only 60p. All you have to do is to complete the online form or print and complete the form below.

The Alumni & Development team would like to encourage colleagues to set up their Payroll Gift to support the Alumni Fund at the University of Greenwich which directly helps to alleviate student financial hardship, supports students with disabilities and dyslexia and provides learning resources in the libraries. In the past year alone enough money was donated by alumni, staff and students to help over 200 students in severe financial hardship and to purchase 50 e-books for the libraries, but there are still many more to help and much to do.

If you would like to set up your Payroll Gift to support the Alumni Fund complete the following in the ‘Name and Address of Charity’ section on the form – thank you:
