Linda Brownlow joined the University of Greenwich in January 2014. She joined the University from the Metropolitan Police where she was previously Head of Crime Scene Training at their Crime Academy at Hendon. A qualified Crime Scene Examiner and ACPO registered Fingerprint Expert with twenty years' experience; Linda holds an MSc In Crime Science from University College London and is a respected lecturer and practitioner in the field of Forensic Science.

Recognition

Nationally Registered (ACPO) Fingerprint Expert and Member of the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences. Previous Advisor for Skills for Justice Advisory Group (Skillsmark), Member of the ACPO Forensic Science Competency Programme Board and the ACPO National Forensic Science Training and Standards Group.

Research / Scholarly interests

Linda's interests evolve around all things scientific, but her particular focus lies in Fingerprint Identification and Crime Scene Evidence, and this is where her research focus lies.
