BIG - Business Innovation Group

The BIG LogoBIG is a joint initiative established late 2009, between leading knowledge base and key business support organisations in the Kent and Medway region to facilitate a "Collaborating Network" for mutual business growth, peer-peer learning, public sector opportunities & funding, collaborations, partnerships, innovation and growth for companies in, Technology, Engineering and Manufacturing (TEM) sectors.

BIG, led by the TEM industry community is driven by the Innovation agenda by University of Greenwich at Medway supported by key support organisations such as The Partnership for Profit Improvement (honorary founder member), the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, the Channel Chamber of Commerce and the Kent & Medway Innovation Growth Team (SEBIG). Recently, Engineering Trade body associations e.g., EEF-The Manufacturers Organisation and KOS Media (Media Sponsors) have joined as support organisations of BIG. Key support organisations also form the Advisory Group; they represent the wider interests of the business community, gauge relevance of activities set-out to promote the BIG members' interests and support the activities.
