Testing Services
The School of Engineering offers a wide range of services to business and industry from contract research, through knowledge transfer to consultancy. It also makes all its test facilities available to businesses to carry out tests in a wide range of fields, including:
Testing of concrete to ISO standards (new and old)
Concrete panel surface testing and finish evaluation
Testing of metal structures to destruction
Evaluating the flow of solids in pnuematic conveying lines
Noise transmission and vibration testing in buildings
Radio frequency antenna design and evaluation
