Accreditation
As a forward looking school we have a range of programmes across the spectrum of engineering. We think of ourselves as the home of information age engineering in Kent and Medway and are proud of a strong track record of student success in our undergraduate programmes.
Accreditation towards IEng and CEng status
We are currently working to review all our programmes for accreditation and recently took our civil engineering programmes through a Joint Board of Moderators to update the existing accreditation in this area (more). A range of BEng programmes in the school is being processed either through first-time or renewal of accreditation with the IMechE, IEE and IIE (more).
Other accreditations and professional certification
Several programmes in the school carry learning for third-party professional accreditation, notably the BEng Computer Networking degree which supports students who wish to take the third-party certification for CISCO CCNA and CCNP qualifications. We are also working towards similar support for ORACLE, RED HAT (LINUX) and Microsoft professional awards.
