Computing & Telecomms Research

Welcome from the director of the Computing and Telecommunications Research Centre, Professor Predrag Rapajic, BEng, MEng, PhD.
The CTRC's mission is the continuous pursuit of academic excellence. We pursue academic excellence through:
- Research contributions made in our disciplinary area (computing and telecommunications);
- Our commitment to world class research training of our research students;
- Improving our students' learning experience, learning outcomes, and advanced engineering professional practice.
The pursuit of academic excellence will be driven by our firm commitment to wider student participation in higher education, inclusiveness, cooperation, leadership and clarity of our goals. The CTRC Mission Statement takes into consideration the corporate plan of the University of Greenwich and the mission statement of the School of Engineering.
The scope of technical activity of the Centre is intentionally left flexible. However, based on the research interests of our key members of staff, the Centre's activities coincide with the technical activities of the following IEEE societies: (primarily) IEEE Communication Society; (and also) IEEE Information Theory Society; IEEE Computer Society; IEEE Signal Processing Society; IEEE Vehicular Technology Society and IEEE Antenna and Propagation Society.
