20th Century International Naval History
This course provides insight into the factors influencing the use of naval power in the 20th century. It relates naval strategy to the political, economic and technological context, focusing on naval warfare in the First and Second World Wars, on inter-war naval limitation and seapower in the nuclear age.
Students are assessed on two essays of 2000 words
