Personal Profile:
My background is in surgical nursing and I have a particular interest in professional/ethical/legal issues. I contribute to teaching across a range of pre-registration and post-registration courses and enjoy my role in developing learning opportunities as a link teacher having linked at some point in my career with most of our local acute Trusts.
My interest in professional and clinical issues is supported by collaboration with local Trusts including membership of a Clinical Effectiveness group; Essence of Care benchmarking working group; facilitation of clinical supervision groups; facilitation & assessment of a pharmacist undertaking a post graduate teaching diploma.
I currently also participate in outreach work by collaborating on developments across a range of professional organisations with the purpose of assisting them to achieve successful credit rating of their educational provision, with the University.
