Chinese Students
The University welcomed a group from the Beijing Olympics team who are studying here from March - July 2008.
Thirty Chinese tutees are attending the tailor-made training course provided by the Language Centre in the Department of Languages and International Studies.
The course includes high level English language classes, a translating and interpreting programme as well as cross cultural workshops and cultural outings.
On their return to China, the students will work as official translators and interpreters at the Beijing Summer Olympic games 2008.
For further information on the project, contact Corinne Palmer-Brown.
