Birte has a wide range of experience - teaching general and business English and German; English for Academic Purposes; English for young learners; IELTS preparation and translating and interpreting English/French/German/Lingala.
Birte studied banking and finances in Kiel, Germany. She completed her CELTA qualification in London and worked as German and English teacher in various colleges in London and abroad.
In the summer 2008 Birte worked as English Teacher for the British Council in Dubai in the Middle East. Her work experience also includes teaching German as Visiting Lecturer at Greenwich University from 2006 to 2008.
