Qualifications

BA English

MA English Linguistics

PHD French Studies

PGCE Secondary French

She studied English in France, at the University of Tours (Licence-ès-Lettres, 1994). She specialised in English linguistics for her MA (Maîtrise-ès-Lettres, 1996) and studied British and French Sign Languages. She later took her PhD at the University of Nottingham (Department of French Studies, 2003) where her research focused on contemporary erotic literature by women writers. Her research interests include erotica, women studies, feminism, gender, gender representation and the writing of the code.

Corinne is a qualified teacher (PGCE secondary French, University of Nottingham 2004) and has worked in a number of secondary schools along the years.

She has experience in translating and interpreting and has also worked a freelance teacher in the business sector. She taught in the department of French at the University of Nottingham for 4 years and was the module leader for the French in Business course (Year 3).

Her personal interests include cinema, travelling, fashion, cooking and art.
