Teresa's role as the German Language Assistant is to deliver conversation classes to learners of German at the university as well as working in the Language Centre where she gives out language learning materials to students, answer questions they might have about the languages they learn and deal with general enquiries about the language learning servies offered by the university.
Teresa is from a village near Dresden in Germany, thus her mother tongue is German and she also speaks English, French and a little Spanish.
Having completed a BA in International Studies: Language and Culture at Greenwich, she is now studying for an MPhil at Aston University. The subject or her research is the German expatriate community in Richmond, London.
