Qualifications
BA (Open), Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching in Lifelong Learning (Birkbeck)
Kathy has been a business journalist for the past 25 years covering construction, manufacturing, transport, food and IT. In addition she is a journalism trainer. As a visiting lecturer she has taught at the London College of Communication and, for the past six years, at Birkbeck where she was also an academic advisor.

Journalism: news, features, subbing, business, finance, and online.
Research Interests
Media reception studies - particularly with reference to online and print products for business audiences.
