The Upstart project within the School of Humanities & Social Sciences at the University of Greenwich provides training and support for new entrepreneurs in the creative industries. We are looking for an energetic leader for our flagship course, Creative Commerce, a weekly three-month programme of seminars for startups and new entrants in the media arts sectors (audiovisual, performing arts, design and publishing).
The CPD leader will be responsible for both overall coordination and delivery of some elements of the Creative Commerce course, and sourcing professionals in the creative industries to serve as guest presenters and mentors.
The CPD leader is expected to contribute significantly to the design, development and delivery of Creative Commerce, and the Upstart programme. You should have a track record of entrepreneurial activity and/or business support in the creative industries, and some teaching and curriculum management experience.
This post is part –time (17½ hours per week) to 30 September 2007. There may be the opportunity to extend the post for a further term from October 2007.
Salary scale: pro rata to £29677 - £34701 per annum inclusive.
