In addition, I have been grant-aided for international conferences by the governments of France, Czech Republic, Hungary, and former Jugoslavia, and by the European Community. I have also attended research conferences in Sweden, Bulgaria, Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and the United States, usually with external funding, and attended an OSCE meeting in Warsaw on attachment to the Foreign Office.
