This course will help you improve awareness of contemporary issues in your field of study and widen your lexical knowledge and skills. By the end of this course you will have achieved a higher level of fluency and accuracy required for professional life.
The proficiency level of this course corresponds to level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Assessment
Assignment 1
In-class assessment of speaking skills during the semester (25%).
Assignment 2
Exam of writing and reading skills using texts in the target language and in English including writing reports and translation (50%).
Assignment 3
Submission of portfolio. The portfolio is a formative assessment and requires regular work. It includes written, speaking, listening and reading activities (25%).
