The Department of Medway Sciences, besides being a centre of excellence in pre-formulation and formulation studies, has a strong interaction with industry. There are currently MPhil, MSc and PhD students working in the department, which also employs several Postdoctoral Fellows. Current industrial support is in the order of £700,000 per annum. The School of Science attracts multi-million pound funding from international business and government sources to support its research activities. At the Medway Campus, we have one of the best teaching and research environments in the country, including some of the most sophisticated instrumentation in the UK.
