Research & Consultancy
On the subject of biomaterials, ie implantable materials for orthopaedic and dental applications. To date, I have published approximately 140 papers in this field, and have made a distinctive contribution to the chemistry of implantable cements. I have also written/co-authored some 4 books, the 3rd edition of one ("The Chemistry of Polymers", RSC, Cambridge) was published during 2007.
