Areas of Expertise
Brian is a Fellow of the Chartered Quality Institute a Member of the Chartered Management Institute and an Associate of the Institution of Engineering and Technology. He has a BA Hons and a Post Graduate Diploma in Technology, both obtained at the Open University. He spent thirty three years with BT; starting as an Apprentice and finishing as a Product Manager running BT’s International Packet Switching Network a £7,000,000 business. He then spent three years with the DWP before joining the School of Science in 2005. Brian’s role is to ensure the staff and students in the school adhere to the regulations. That marks are processed on time and that students receive the correct award. He maintains databases for extenuation, AP(E)L, and disability.
