Translation Dictionaries No Longer Permitted in Exams
From the current 2009/2010 session the University policy is that use of translation dictionaries in exams will not be allowed.
The change to the policy on dictionary use has been approved and implemented by University Academic Council in consultation with the Learning and Quality Committee and will take immediate effect. The change in policy will also take immediate effect for students who have previously been given permission for use of a translation dictionary. No further use of a translation dictionary in exams will be allowed.
