Extension of Visa Workshops

If you need to extend your visa to complete your programme of study it is recommended that you attend one of the following International Student Advice Service (ISAS) workshops. To book a place, contact the Student Centre on the campus where you wish to attend the workshop.

 

What you need to do in preparation for the workshop

Before you attend the workshop you will need to:

  1. Request a CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) from your Student Centre. YOu do this in person at your Student Centre, and you must bring with you: 
        
    • Your passport 
    • Your Qualifications used to join the course, if you began your studies in September 2009 or January 2010
    • A £10 fee for the CAS
  2. Complete the Tier 4 application form – obtained from the Student Centre
  3.  
  4. Read through the guidance notes on completing the visa application form – obtained from your Student Centre
  5.  
  6. Collect together the documentation as stated in the guidance notes.
